Working with our good friends at OfficeBuilders, we were contracted to provide signage for Notre Dame University’s new campus at Oran Park. Using clear film to print the graphics supplied provided the client with an advertisement without losing visibility through the glass.

We were tasked also with replicating their emblem on a small scale for their reception desk. Using persepex and vinyl we did our best to keep as much detail in the sign as possible.

Provided with a brief to design and install a shopfront that provides street appeal. The client wanted to have privacy in the shop however wanted the ability to see outside. The shop started online and was very successful the client opened a storefront and found that customers found it hard to find the store and also wanted to attract walk-ins. Teaming up with our trusted designer at Graphicly we came up with a great concept for the shop to meet the client’s needs.

Materials used are OneWay Vision by Contravision.

Sporting Shooters Association Australia

Approached by OfficeBuilders, we were instructed to provide a tenancy fit-out for SSAA. The scope of work was to provide a high-end finish to the glass partitions of the tenancy. As well as their main meeting room to the front of the foyer. The client requested maximum privacy with this glazing, along with a printed logo upon entry to their office.

The Films used were 3M from the 7725 range, this is a cast self-adhesive vinyl. The finish on this job is frosted crystal, which provides a diamond-like appearance.

ANC Transport

Approached by Forma Projects, we were asked to supply frosting for their client ANC Transport. The scope of work was to provide 1200mm frosting throughout the tenancy and a 75mm safety strip in high-traffic areas such as the entrance doors and the kitchen. We installed about 50 lineal meters on this job providing privacy to the meeting rooms and offices. The job was completed within a day with a team of two Primal crew.

Huwaei

Primal was approached by Forma Projects to create a street sign for Huawei’s new shop in Hurstville. The scope of the job was to create an appealing cantilever sign that will be seen from the street.

The first design was set in place until the client changed their mind, we accommodated this change by modifying the sign from cantilever to flush mount against the wall.

The sign was fabricated out of aluminum with a perspex logo. Custom extrusions were fabricated to meet the sizing requirements of the client. We then skinned the box with aluminum sheeting. Everything was then conducted to all standards of quality that we provide to maximize the longevity of the sign.

Coffs Harbour Hospital

PDS was approached by companies involved in the Coffs Harbour Hospital Expansion run by CPB Contractors. The $116 million project was a great size including the construction of a new five-story clinical services building with new connections to the existing hospital. This was an awesome project to be part of.

We were contracted to provide the safety strip throughout the new building. This consisted of over 170LM of safety strip. We worked closely with the Facade company ABS Facades and also the internal fit-out company Interior Works.

Aspect Showroom

We were approached by Aspect Furniture to provide different window finishes to showcase their new Modular Meeting Room System. They wanted to showcase different finishes on their products and to give them an even more premium feel than what is already portrayed.

We provided 3M Dichroic Film in “Blaze” to their phone booth. This provided a dynamic effect from different viewing angles with this multi-layer optical film. 3M Window Tint Affinity 15 was applied to the meeting room to provide a cooler atmosphere and also increase the privacy of the room. The window tint not only rejects up to 79% of solar energy but offers a mirror finish giving you complete privacy whilst inside the meeting space.

Signage make good for dealership

We were engaged to do a “make good” of the holden sign in Chullora. Two of the side panels fell off due to age and had to be refabricated. Colour matching was required to be as close as possible to the original.

One panel was salvaged to reduce costs to the client however the other one had to be remolded out of fiberglass. We then wrapped the panels in Orafol wrapping film as it provided the closest colour match to the original. We then installed the panels to provide a premium job for the client.

StateCover

We were approached by builder Forma Projects, who we frequently work with to install the signage package for State Cover. The client had scheduled a refurbishment of their office in Sydney.

We supplied and installed frosting in the offices and meeting rooms. Also installing company signage on the entrance doors of the tenancy. The film used on the job was Orocal 8710 Dusted Calendered Film. This provides a haze-like appearance to give privacy to the occupant.

SEA Casula

We were approached by Sydney Exotic Aquariums to update their shopfront signage and install a new sign above their shop. Amongst the other shops on the strip, they were lacking in street appeal. Being situated on the side of the Hume Highway, a busy main road they became lost amongst the other stores.

We delivered them a big 5Mx1.2M framed sign. Made out of aluminum SHS and ACM paneling to withstand the test of time and weather. The sign was lifted into place using a hiab and then fixed to the existing steel beam supporting the roof of the shop. The sign now has provided the client with street appeal and an influx of customers rolling in off the main road.
